The so- called Black Sea Agreement signed in July by the United Nations, Ukraine, Russia and Turkey allows the export of further than 9 million tons of Ukrainian food grains.  Meanwhile, Moscow's statement revealing its incapability to export its own grain and fertilizer as part of the another deal has caused confusion.

Guterres' spokesperson Stephane Dujarric noted on Friday that the original agreement lasted 120days.However, the new renewal period will be fixed on November 19, If no party objects.

We call for all- out efforts to renew the Black Sea Grain Initiative and their full perpetration, including the swift removal of any walls to Russian grain and fertilizer exports, he said in a statement.

" We do not underestimate the challenges, but we know they can overcome them," he added.

Governments, shipping companies, grain and fertilizer traders and growers around the world are now seeking clarity on the future, the statement added. Meanwhile, Moscow has complained that it's unfit to sell the fertilizer it produces due to Western sanctions.

Russia's ambassador to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, told journalists on Thursday( October 27) that Moscow must allow Russia's exports before promising to extend the agreement.

He added,' I've been saying for a long time that the barriers remain the same.'
