'For what crime was my child shot 24 times!'

A teenager in Iran has been shot dead by the country's security forces. On Thursday (October 20), the international media BBC reported that the 17-year-old boy named Abul Fazal Adinzade ran away from school on October 8 and participated in the anti-government protests in Iran. He never returned home after that. There was no statement from the government authorities in this incident.

At that time, Abul Fazl's father was warned to keep his mouth shut and not to talk to the media. The BBC report also said that local authorities deployed plainclothes police to prevent protests from spreading from Abul Fazal's funeral. Abul Fazl's aunt took pictures and videos of his grave.

Relatives said they had been deleted. Abul Fazl's friends said that he was angry with the government over Mahsa Amini's death. This is why he participated in the protest.

Iran's Human Rights Activist News Agency (HRANA) estimates that 244 protesters, including 32 children, have been killed by security forces in the ongoing protests. Apart from this, 12 thousand 500 people who participated in the protest were arrested. Many of them are youths and children, they said.
