A Palestinian was killed by Israeli soldiers in the west coast
A Palestinian was killed in clashes with the Israeli army in Jenin in the occupied West coast on Thursday (October 20) night. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported on Friday (October 21).
Salah al-Buraiki, 19, died of a gunshot wound to the neck, the ministry said in a statement.
The Israeli military says the man threw explosives and fired at security forces during the Jenin operation. In response, they responded by firing directly.
Earlier, Israeli forces shot and killed two Palestinians, including a doctor, during an operation in the northern city of Jenin in the occupied West Bank. According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the international media Al-Jazeera said that the 40-year-old doctor's name is Abdullah Al-Ahmad. On the morning of October 14, Israeli forces shot him dead in front of the Jenin Public Hospital.
Another person killed the same morning was 20-year-old Matin Dabaya. The Palestinian armed resistance organization 'Jenin Brigades' identified Dabaya as the local commander of their group.
Mohammad Awadeh, spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health, said Dabaya was shot in the head. Last Friday (October 14) at 8 o'clock in the morning, the killing happened shortly after the Israeli army began its operation in Jenin. At this time, armed conflict with the Israeli forces began.
He added that five more Palestinians were shot dead in Jenin on the morning of October 14. At least 160 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank since the beginning of the year.
