'No compromise' with China: Taiwan

Taiwan will never abandon their democratic way of life. In this case, Taiwan has no chance to compromise with China.

In her National Day speech on Monday (October 10), Taiwan's leader Tsail Ing-wen warned China and gave this message.

In the speech, she compared China's actions on Taiwan with Russia's operation in Ukraine. News from AFP.

Taiwan's 23 million people are constantly under the threat of aggression from the Chinese Communist Party. Just as Russia's war in Ukraine has stoked fears, some of Beijing's moves toward Taiwan have also stoked fears.

In a National Day speech, President Tsai Tsai Ing-wen compared Beijing's intention to one day take control of Taiwan to Moscow's aggression. Taiwan expressed its commitment to use force if necessary in this regard.

She said, we cannot ignore the challenge of using military force in the free and democratic world system. Such a tense situation is closely related to Taiwan.
