Two Palestinians were shot in the head
2 Palestinian youths have been shot dead by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
On Saturday (October 22), the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 32-year-old Rabi Arafah Rabi was shot in the head by Israeli forces in Qalqilya area of the West Bank.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army claimed that the young man was trying to enter Israel illegally with a car. They asked the car to stop but it did not stop. The Israeli forces claimed that the car was shot at.
In a separate incident, Israeli forces claimed to have shot and killed a Palestinian teenager while fleeing after stabbing an Israeli man in East Jerusalem. They claimed the teenager was running away with an 'object' after the attack. At that time, when an army officer tried to stop him, he moved towards the army officer with the object. At that time the army officer shot him.
Wafa, the official Palestinian news agency, said the identity of the 16-year-old boy could not be ascertained. He was admitted to a hospital in Jerusalem with serious injuries. Later the doctor on duty declared him dead. More than 125 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the West Bank and East Jerusalem this year.
The Israeli army claimed that most of the dead Palestinians were attackers. However, international human rights organizations claim that many teenagers who have protested against the incursion have been killed, not just those involved in other forms of conflict.
