At the same time, Zelensky called for strict sanctions on Tehran, accusing Iran of helping Russia with drones. He made this call by joining the European Council session virtually.
On the other hand, the European Union has imposed sanctions on three Iranian generals and weapons manufacturers for supplying Russia with kamikaze drones. The UK has also announced sanctions on Iran. However, what kind of ban will be imposed has not yet been announced.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin met on Thursday (October 20) with troops going to fight in Ukraine. These soldiers joined the army after announcing its army rally. After a short training, they are being sent to fight in Ukraine.
