Germany will provide subsidies to prevent the increase in gas prices
The German government has decided to subsidize the gas prices in the domestic and commercial sectors in order to deal with the energy crisis in the Russia-Ukraine issue. Economists of the country say that the government of Olaf Schulz has decided to deal with the gas crisis in the upcoming winter season.
Since the beginning of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, Germany has been suffering from energy crisis such as oil, gas and coal. The biggest concern of the Shalj administration at the moment is to save the country from the gas crisis during the looming winter season.
Considering the suffering of the common people, the regulatory commission of Germany has decided to give a subsidy of at least 12 rupees per unit of gas in the country. At the same time, Olaf Scholz administration also highlighted the necessary steps taken by the government to ensure that gas supply companies used for personal or household purposes do not increase prices in the second phase, i.e. from 2023 to April 2024.
It is also reported by the German government that the government is working to prevent the increase in gas prices in industries from January next year. An incentive package of around 20 thousand crore euros was also announced. Where commercial organizations will get two and a half billion euros.
Meanwhile, the Olaf Scholz administration strongly condemned Russia's missile attack on the German consulate in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, in the midst of such a severe energy crisis.
The German chancellor spoke by telephone with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shortly after Monday's (October 10) attack. He also pledged to continue all-out cooperation to Ukraine.
