France crushed by energy crisis, public suffering is increasing

Due to the labor movement demanding higher wages, the shortage of fuel at the petrol pumps in France has become dire. More than 30 percent of the country's petrol pumps have been shut due to lack of supply. Several more are on the way to closure.
The few petrol pumps that are open, there are long queues of cars. In some pumps, the line has exceeded several kilometers. Even after standing in line for hours, the desired fuel is not available. Motorists have suffered greatly.
One of the victims said, I am a working man. Leaving at 7 am and moving from one station to another. But I am not getting oil at any station. I am forced to close my work today. The motorbike has to be towed back.
The crisis that started with the increase in fuel prices in France after the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, has now caused a shortage of supply at the petrol pumps.
Although the government has promised to resolve the crisis quickly through negotiations, energy experts say that even if the strike is lifted, it will take more than a week for the situation to normalize.
