Foreign interference in internal affairs not desirable: Iran

After the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on Iran. However, Tehran said that the interference of foreign countries in Iran's internal affairs will not be accepted in any way.

Protests continue in Iran over the death of young Mahsa Amini in police custody. The situation of the country is gradually becoming unstable.

Human rights organizations say that the number of casualties is increasing daily due to government forces' repression of the ongoing protests. More than 180 people, including children, have been killed so far, according to the Iran Human Rights Organization. Even the security forces have been accused of detaining several Iranian school students.

The Iranian government has faced widespread criticism and condemnation for its crackdown on protesters. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country has given a stern warning that foreign interference in Iran's internal affairs will not be accepted in any way.

According to the ministry, Iran's internal affairs are only related to the country's government and general public. There is no need for outsider intervention.

Since the beginning of the movement, Tehran has been under the influence of Western sanctions one after another. After the United States and Canada, the United Kingdom has imposed sanctions on members of Iran's security forces, politicians and morality police.

Meanwhile, Mahsa Amini's family members have complained that they are being threatened with death. At the same time, they have been warned not to involve themselves in the ongoing protests.
