Germany and the European Union are considering whether to list Iran's powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a 'terrorist organisation'.
On Sunday (October 30), German Foreign Minister Annalena Bierbock gave this information to the media ARD. At that time, Analena Bierbock said, 'I made it clear last week, we will give another ban. Now I am also examining how to list the Revolutionary Guards as a terrorist organization.
Iran is still hot about the death of a young woman named Mahsa Amini in police custody. Ordinary people are taking to the streets without heeding the ban of the administration, often clashing with the security forces. The number of casualties is constantly increasing.
Meanwhile, Hossein Salami, head of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has directly threatened to stop the ongoing violent protests across the country. The IRGC chief warned that the security forces would be forced to become tougher if the violence did not stop.
Hossein Salami attended a rally in the central Iranian city of Siraj on Saturday (October 29). He termed the ongoing violent protests as a 'foreign conspiracy'. The head of the Revolutionary Guard warned the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel and Saudi Arabia to stop inciting the common people in the death of the young woman.
"I want to tell the youth again that you are the victims of a conspiracy," he said, warning that the security forces would be forced to crack down if the protests across Iran were not stopped immediately. Stop this violent movement as soon as possible. No more protests can be allowed on the streets of Iran.'
