Imran's claim regarding the attack is unacceptable

He blamed the country's current government and army for the barbaric attack on Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan. A day later, Imran's speech was rejected by the country's government and army.

Hours after Imran's speech, Pakistan's Information Minister Maryam Arangzeb and the army's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement on Saturday (November 5) calling Imran's speech 'unacceptable and unwarranted'.

Pakistan Army is a professional and disciplined organization, ISPR said in a statement. There is a strong internal accountability mechanism for the military to act illegally.

Terming Imran's allegations as sad, the ISPR said the honor of the Pakistan Army is being tarnished for petty interests. They also said that no matter what, the army will provide security to its officers and soldiers. Earlier, Pakistan's Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Home Minister Rana Sanullah also condemned Imran Khan's allegations.

Aurangzeb questioned Imran Khan's actions after the attack. Maryam Aurangzeb complained that why was she not taken to a local hospital after the attack. Why was he taken 123 km away to Lahore? He also questioned why Imran was not allowed to see government doctors and police.

Maryam said, we have offered full cooperation to the provincial government in the investigation of the incident. In that case Imran Khan can ask Scotland Yard, private investigator or anyone to investigate the attack. Maryam also said that Imran is saying whatever he wants against the army for political gain. He has made very bad comments about the army before. Which is not possible to bring to the mouth.

Meanwhile, Pakistan's interior minister Rana Sanaullah called Imran Khan a liar in an interview with the Pakistani media Geo News. He said Imran's complaint is baseless. Rana Sanaullah demanded an independent medical board to examine the four bullet wounds sustained by Imran.
