Defense capacity to increase to 50 percent: Saudi PM

Saudi Arabia's defense capabilities have been increased by 2 to 15 percent over the past few years. It will be increased to 50 percent under the new defense minister's regime. Reuters news.

On Sunday (October 9), Saudi Arabia's Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed this expectation about his younger brother Khalid bin Salman.

37-year-old Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has already held several key ministries including finance, defence, oil and interior.


MBS succeeded to the throne in 2017. Before that he was in charge of Defense Minister.
