A new mass graves found in Ukraine
Following the discovery of a mass grave of 400 people last week in Ukraine, another mass grave has been found in a forest near the town of Izium.
In a video message about this, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that 17 bodies were found in the new mass grave in Izium. The cause of their death is not yet known. However, some of them have injuries, Zelensky said. Meanwhile, Moscow has not yet commented on the new mass grave.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau reacted angrily to the discovery of mass graves one after another in Ukraine. In a press conference, he said, the discovery of mass graves in Ukraine is proof of Russia's war crimes. Trudeau said that Moscow needs to be held accountable for such actions as well as a proper investigation of the incident. He said that the Ukraine issue was at the center of the discussion in his meeting with the new British Prime Minister Liz Truss.
Meanwhile, Russia is looking for contract troops to strengthen the ongoing military operations in Ukraine. The Putin administration has also announced an incentive of $3,000 per month to attract the attention of volunteers.
