A terrible road accident in South Africa, 16 children and students were killed
At least 16 schoolchildren were killed when a bus collided with a large truck in South Africa. Their age is between 5 and 12 years.
The Ministry of Transport of the country's Kayazulu-Natal province said the accident happened on the highway about 300 kilometers north of Durban on Friday (September 16). News from AFP.
According to local media reports, a total of 19 people were being carried in the bus. Three of them were adults.
Regional Transport Minister Sipho Holmuka said in a statement, "It is very tragic that so many children are gone forever."
Although South Africa's roads are much better than other countries on the continent, reckless driving is blamed for most of the country's accidents.
