Biden-Raisi's counter-statements about protests in Iran

Tehran has given a strong response to US President Joe Biden's comments that the people of the country will be released from the hands of the Iranian regime very soon. Taking part in a ceremony on Friday, President Ibrahim Raisi claimed that the people of Iran were liberated 43 years ago. Raisi also warned that Iran will never bow down to the West.

Seven weeks have passed since the death of Masha Amini in police custody over the hijab issue, but protests are still raging in Iran. The world has not seen such a big movement of Tehran in recent times. Along with the foreign pressure, the ongoing movement is gradually taking the form of an anti-government movement. Iran has always accused the US of inciting the protesters.

Regarding Iran on Thursday, US President Joe Biden said that the people of the country will be released from the hands of the Iranian rulers very soon. Expressing solidarity with the Iranian protesters, he also said that the United States is committed to the release of the people of Iran.

Meanwhile, Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi responded to Biden's comments. Raisi was speaking at a ceremony marking the 43rd anniversary of the seizure of the US embassy in the capital Tehran on Friday. While mocking Biden, he said that the people of Iran were released 43 years ago. Raisi also warned that Iran will never bow down to the United States.

At that time, Raisi said, 'The United States thinks they can run us in the same way as they run other countries including Libya. Even before this, we have given them proper education. How often do you have to teach? Don't you learn from past experiences? We don't have to be free. We are already free.'

Iran's foreign minister also criticized the US president in a tweet. He warned the US for inciting the protesters in the ongoing protests in Iran.
